For the letter A I am sharing a simple vegan smoothie I created. For this smoothie I pureed several organic apples off my mom’s tree with some organic oranges. A tiny bit of almond milk was added to the base of the blender to help puree this concoction, and the final result was simple and delicious. Smoothies are much more affordable to make at home, and you can control the ingredients that go in these.
I bet that this smoothie has quite a tangy kick to it. POW – a breakfast drink that’ll have you awake in moments.
Looks tasty, and a delicious way to kick off the A-to-Z Challenge!
Yes, it is a nice and simple smoothie.
That smoothie looks like it would make a great breakfast drink and a fun change from plain orange juice.

The good thing about this smoothie is it has fibre from the actual fruit, so it will make you fill full longer than orange juice. It is good for breakfast, and I find smoothies and oat meal are my breakfast go-toes.
This looks so delicious! I will try it out, but first i need to find out where to find almond-milk…
It’s good to see your back for this years a to z challenge! Good luck 🙂
Since I am a vegan I like using any kind of dairy free milk, but almond milk just happens to be my favorite.
It looks delicious! I am not a big consumer of smoothies, but my daughter really likes them. Maybe I should try to make this for her.
I just put whatever I like in smoothies, so if she likes these two fruits, she might like it.
This sounds and looks delicious! I’ve always liked apples and oranges, but have never mixed the two before. Will have to give it a try.

I like different combinations of fruit, so this worked for me.
So nice to see a lactose-free smoothie with simple ingredients. This sounds easy and quick for me to do on my own. lol Looking forward to more of your A to Z posts!

I am vegan, so I do all lactose free smoothies. Sometimes I like to do complicated ones, but I honestly like the simple ones best.
You’re so right: the smoothie is a sight to behold! I too like the flecks of apple. I’ll probably not look at a smoothie in quite the same way again! Thanks for sharing your artistic eye to get us to see ordinary things in a different way…
