A Is For Apple Orange And Almond Milk Smoothie

For the letter A I am sharing a simple vegan smoothie I created. For this smoothie I pureed several organic apples off my mom’s tree with some organic oranges. A tiny bit of almond milk was added to the base of the blender to help puree this concoction, and the final result was simple and delicious. Smoothies are much more affordable to make at home, and you can control the ingredients that go in these.

This smoothie is a simple puree of apples, oranges, and almond milk. Smoothies do not have to be elaborate to be tasty.

I am mesmerized by the bubbles on the top of the smoothie, and light flecks of red apple skin in the smoothie itself.

    1. The good thing about this smoothie is it has fibre from the actual fruit, so it will make you fill full longer than orange juice. It is good for breakfast, and I find smoothies and oat meal are my breakfast go-toes.

  1. This looks so delicious! I will try it out, but first i need to find out where to find almond-milk…

    1. I am vegan, so I do all lactose free smoothies. Sometimes I like to do complicated ones, but I honestly like the simple ones best.

  3. You’re so right: the smoothie is a sight to behold! I too like the flecks of apple. I’ll probably not look at a smoothie in quite the same way again! Thanks for sharing your artistic eye to get us to see ordinary things in a different way…
