The late afternoon is always my favorite time here in Southern California. Just before sunset I took some pictures of this beautiful orange field, which has a few palm trees next to it. Years ago palm trees were planted next to orange fields and homes to help people remember where they lived. The rows of palm trees planted next to the orange fields were essentially the first street signs.
Would love to visit South California some day 🙂

Hope you can visit one day :).
Wow! This is beautiful! I can nearly listen to the wind moving around everything.
I love how the wind blows throw this orange field :).
That’s a lovely photograph 🙂 Two of my sons might be going to Uni in California so a perfect photo to land on 🙂
I hope your sons have fun at their new university. There are still a few orange fields around Southern California like this one, but these are becoming rarer as time moves on. I love that this one is still here to look at and photograph :).
We have an orange tree and it gives off the best oranges. Gotta love So. Cal. And thanks for participating in A to Z!
I am the quitensential Southern California native, and I love everything about this part of the world. Also, very much enjoy the scent of the orange blossoms wafting threw the wind on a slightly balmy night. It must be nice to have your own orange tree.
Hi there!
I’m stopping by during the A to Z Challenge. I enjoyed stopping by and hope you get the chance to check out my blog sometime during this month. I’m a children’s book author and I’m reviewing different books. Good luck with the challenge!
Take care,

Nice to meet you during the challenge. I will have to check out your blog.
Southern California is lovely. I had an aunt who lived next door to an orange grove. Smelled wonderful when the breeze rustled the leaves.
I love the orange groves, and wish we would preserve these and plant new ones :).
I do enjoy visiting Southern California–it’s not too far away. Beautiful photo!
That is cool you are pretty near by :0.
