In late November I found a scrub acorn on my walk in the forest.
The cap on the acorn is my favorite part of the seed.
Watch the process of zooming in on the rock.
The northwestern side of the San Bernardino Mountains has many hills that are filled with large granite boulders.
I used my camera to zoom in on these boulders from about ten miles away.
This photograph is speaking to me. Here is a valley with two mountain sides. This canyon is located on the backside of the San Bernardino Mountains, and it just is calling to me visually. There is no need to be on one mountainside or the other. Perhaps I will just explore the valley below.
On a recent hike in the San Bernardino Mountains I spotted deer tracks in the dirt.
