There Was A Valley With Two Mountain Sides

This photograph is speaking to me. Here is a valley with two mountain sides. This canyon is located on the backside of the San Bernardino Mountains, and it just is calling to me visually. There is no need to be on one mountainside or the other. Perhaps I will just explore the valley below.

On a recent hike in the San Bernardino Mountains I spotted deer tracks in the dirt.

With a ski pole used as a hiking stick is useful for pointing out deer tracks.
A deer has two cloven hooves, which are visible in the tracks left behind.

The deer prints are headed in one direction.
The deer prints lead one direction.
The deer were headed towards a small pool of water that formed after the rainstorm.
The deer traveled towards a small pool of water that formed after a recent rainstorm.
