View From The Rim Of The World Highway

The Rim of the World Highway is the picturesque name for Highway 18, which connects the city of San Bernardino with the communities of the San Bernardino Mountains.

The sun shining through the clouds on the way back down the Rim of the World Highway. The outline of the pine tree captures the inclement mood of this overcast day.

Sunset With The View of Mount Baldy

The sunset with the view of Mount Baldy.

At sunset last night I walked outside to view the like pink tinged sky.

A coulter pine and oak tree silhouettes and the sunset.

The silhouette of trees on the hillside during sunset.

Zooming on outline of Mount Baldy at sunset.

One thing I adore about the San Bernardino Mountains is being able to view other mountain ranges from this one, especially with the interesting silhouettes these create at sunset.

Nature In The San Bernardino Mountains

Two oak trees turning yellow in the forest.

Tonight I decided to share some more of the beautiful natural sights from my last trip to the San Bernardino Mountains here in Southern California.

Acorns, leaves, and sticks on the ground in the forest.

Sunlight shimmering through the oak leaves turning golden in hue.

Sun shining through the trees.

View of the Pinnacles through the trees.

Many large boulders are on the top of the Pinnacles.

I created a little San Bernardino Mountains nature movie, so you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Mountains.
