The Cedar Tree

I have been a busy bee with my other blogs, so I have not been as active here. However, here is an intriguing picture I captured of a cedar tree today.

At lunch today I went for a walk in the park, and I captured some photos with my cell phone. Google has an app where they take your photos, and create some really cool images for you, which showed up when I signed into my account. This particular park is very special because there are many tall trees in it, and it reminds me a bit of the mountains.

A Walk In The Park

I miss the mountains on summer days, but I am glad there are city parks to walk in. However, I still yearn for the visage of trees on the horizon, and I wish it would rain to help our micro-climates become a bit more verdant.

The Tree Branch

I thought this tree branch was interesting. I spotted this branch in a field yesterday. There were tire tracks underneath where the branch was laying. The field looks really dry, but we did get a few drops of rain today. I keep hoping the heavens will open up and rain some more. This dry weather is not good for us, and we just need to be soaked in rain.

An Orange Field

Someone asked me what an orange field looks like here in Southern California, so I decided to post a picture. When the trees are in bloom their blossoms carry the most heady fragrance that is alluring and invigorating all at once.

P Is For The Little Palm Tree

Today I rode my bike down a trail I like to take home. On this trail I photographed a little palm tree, which is located near a red rose bush.

This video shows the simple beauty of this small fan palm next to the rose bush. My California dream is admiring the simple beauty of things like palm trees and roses in spring. Anyone can appreciate these things, and spending time in nature is free.
