I decided to post something non A to Z Challenge related to share that I found Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy ice cream at Walmart. It was only $3.97, which is more reasonable than when I paid $4.99 for a pint at Target a couple of weeks ago. So if you are craving some vegan junk food, check and see if your Walmart has the vegan kind of Ben & Jerry’s.
Today the letter B is for the banana strawberry clementine smoothie.
Yes, I am at it again admiring the simplicity of a banana, strawberry, and clementine smoothie. To make this concoction I simply pureed five bananas with four clementines, and I added a tiny bit of almond milk to aid in the process. Next, I added half a package of strawberries to give this smoothie a slight red hue.
The ruby hue of the strawberries is a nice contrast to the slight yellow color of the smoothie before I finished pureeing.
For the letter A I am sharing a simple vegan smoothie I created. For this smoothie I pureed several organic apples off my mom’s tree with some organic oranges. A tiny bit of almond milk was added to the base of the blender to help puree this concoction, and the final result was simple and delicious. Smoothies are much more affordable to make at home, and you can control the ingredients that go in these.
