    1. Yes, it does. Apparently, there are also some palm tree oasis there at Joshua Tree National Park, which would be quite fascinating to see. I realize how much I love the desert again. Something deep within me just is drawn to it.

  1. The lighting is amazing. The fifth and sixth photos have me thinking of Fred Flintstone and the City of Bedrock. I also think the Joshua trees are wearing coonskin caps ala Daniel Boone.

        1. I took a lot of Joshua tree photos, so it is taking awhile to post all of these. Usually I archive all the photos I take, but I am breaking these up over several blogs.

    1. Yes, the boulders give this place that wild and untamed look. I really love this about this part of the desert, or what I consider to be my Mojave desert.
