V Is For Looking Down At The Mountain Valley

Today the letter V is for looking down on the forest valley. This view was captured in the Bernardino Mountains back in April of 2011.

The mountains create valleys, which I enjoy looking down upon. The verdant green foliage of spring brings the promise of summer. If you want to see more of the San Bernardino Mountains, you can watch the video below.

    1. The mountains have been so dry with fires and droughts in recent years, so it is pretty amazing to see green foliage as much as there is. I believe the forest perseveres as much as it can. It kind of harkens back to the idea of persistence you were talking about on your blog.

  1. Beautiful! I wonder if some trees get their leaves before others because of where they are in line with springs or underground streams.

It’s been raining since 2:30 this morning. Gentle, sporadic, but still continuous. Are you getting any in your area?

    1. I wish we would have got more rain here in Southern California. I think you are right about how some trees get their leaves before others due to the amount of rain in underground streams. It sounds like you are having a lovely evening there.

    1. Yes if you have allergies, I would not recommend walking down that hillside. I noticed growing up in the mountains I never really had allergies, so I guess I was lucky.
