There is always a scenic view while driving up the Rim of the World Highway, even on a cloudy and rainy day. On this day before Thanksgiving the sun was streaming through the rain clouds.

  1. These photos are gorgeous! Sometimes it takes the peace and majesty of nature to help take away all the petty concerns among humans that are weighing us down. Thanks for sharing this!

  2. I thought you took these in a plane at first! Wow-I love the one picture of the sun rays coming through the dark clouds. The drive up would be making me freak since I am phobic of heights

    1. The trip up the Rim of the World Highway freaks a lot of people out. I know my step grandma was screaming the first time my grandpa drove her up the mountain. I have seen some bad accidents on this stretch of road, so people do need to be careful when driving it, especially since it can get extremely foggy. However, the views are worth it, if you can stand all the hairpin turns.
