Today the letter Y is for the question: do you see the two whitemorning glories? What things do you see when you look out the window? Do you see morning glories? This morning I spotted these two amazing white morning glories swaying in the wind, so I captured this moment in time.
In the video below you can actually see the petals of the white morning glories swaying in the wind. Southern California has many gusty days such as this one, and the morning glories handled the blustery weather quite well.
Those are lovely morning glories. Every day I go for a walk and see new flowers in unusual places. Yesterday evening I spotted a Native Wood Violet, and it was actually growing in the woods! In that location, it really did look like a violet.
I love how morning glories take care of themselves, and can truly plant themselves anywhere. Your violet deep in the woods sounds amazing.
Morning glories are a great metaphor for strong people who look fragile and delicate. They’re among my favorite flower. The first year we moved in with the Mama, I sowed a bunch of seeds. Fro a few years we sprinkled the next generation of seeds around the backyard. Now, we just wait for volunteers to come up each year.
I love your metaphor regarding the morning glory. They look delicate, but truly have an inner strength.
They look so delicate yet they can wrap themselves around anything and choke it. I love all their colours
Yes, morning glories are both delicate and strong all at once.
Unfortunately there are no Morning Glorys infront of my window. But i can see many trees and some of the roofs of the houses in my city. Now is the time when you can see something new every day, a new green, new leafs, new flowers. Still i love to watch the clouds passing by the most…
Sounds like you have a lovely view, Marie.
